Carers NSW Carers Mental Health Project (2001 – 2004) Longitudinal
Follow-up Report - February 2007.

Research conducted by Dr Deanna Pagnini, independent consultant for Carers NSW funded by NSW Health through the Centre for Mental Health as part of the Carers Mental Health Project.

The findings provide strong evidence that the suite of carer support and training programs has led to long-term benefits for both adults and young carers.  The training for mental health and community and health industry professionals led to attitudinal and practice changes in the ways the participants related to carers.
